Some people love to delegate, and it comes naturally to them. Most people have to learn this skill though.

Until recently my viewpoint on delegating was pretty straightforward, as I am used to being the one who is delegated to.
I'm used to being the "getter doner", the assistant, the right hand. Consequently I am the one who is usually preaching about the benefits of delegating and trying to explain how delegating can save a business owner more time, relieve stress, increase earnings, and improve customer satisfaction.
But recently something interesting happened. I finally had the chance to experience the flip side of the delegating coin, to be the person who was having stuff done for them. I must admit, I was surprised how challenging it was.

Learning How To Delegate To Your VA, Part 2
For so many of folks who are used to doing everything themselves, it's hard to let go of the reigns and hand tasks over to a helper.
Now remember, when you were starting your business you did the whole shebang yourself--every little thing. You were motivated to do it correctly and with high quality because the success of your business (and your business' reputation) was riding on it.
At the beginning, being such a hard worker helped you advance your business, but there comes a time when trying to continue to do everything yourself can actually hold you back. You reach a wall, a ceiling on growth because you are only one person, and there's only so much that you can do yourself.
