I actually don't have a list of specific services. The reason why is that I customize my services to meet each client's unique needs. So the work I would do with you basically has limitless potential and is constantly changing and evolving with your needs.
The specific services really depend on the needs of the client, but I can tell you that in a general sense, the services I provide are organizational and creative.
Before I start working with you we'll talk about your business in the following areas:
- How it functions
- What's important to you
- What challenges you're currently experiencing that you would like to resolve
- What your goals are in the short term and the long term, and
- Basically what you would like your life to look like as a result of us working together.
I then sort out all this information and organize it into a schedule of daily, weekly, and monthly operations (if you don't already have this set up) so that work that needs to be done gets done at the right time, in the most efficient way, and of the highest quality.
I execute the daily, weekly, and monthly operations so that you can have more time to spend with your family, to create new products, and to have more leisure time to do whatever you like.
The Organizational Side
Even though all my clients are in the web/tech arena, they each have very
different businesses, so what I do for one person is usually pretty
different from the types of things that I do for another. But just to give you some ideas, here are some examples:
1) One client's main business may be a membership site that needs to be managed in every way:
- Staying in contact with customers and potential customers
- Managing the affiliate system
- Problem solving various issues having to do with education of the members in using the site
- Training new staff
- Overseeing the membership site operations on a daily basis and
- Email management
2) Another client's business may be more education/teaching oriented, so what he needs is:
- Marketing assistance
- Updating his blog and managing comments
- Email management
- Affiliate management
- Research for whatever his new class/product will be
- Coordinating teleconference calls, programming auto-responders, and
- Basically being his representative to the world
3) Another client may be a web developer whose daily operations would involve:
- Paying bloggers
- Being the main contact person to answer questions or offer assistance
- Providing content for blogs
- Blog management
- Reporting on website traffic and ads sales for the various sites
- Email management, etc.
These are just a few examples, but with each client there is a partnership, a creative collaboration going on in addition to the organizational side.
The Creative Side
I work very closely with
my clients on a daily basis, and this allows the partnership to go
beyond organizational/admin stuff and into the creative realm.
Even though we're in different geographic locations, we interact (usually via IM and email) on a daily basis as if we're in the same room. We brainstorm, share ideas, develop products, and bounce ideas off of each other, and on top of this we make sure that the daily operations of the business run like a well-oiled machine.
So, it's kind of an organic relationship that I have with clients where the services I provide are customized to suit their needs and are always changing and evolving.
Basically I just do whatever I can to help their lives and businesses run more smoothly, and I help them flesh out their dreams and make their goals a reality. Being intimately involved with their businesses puts me in a unique position to suggest further growth opportunities that I notice.
